While there are no ladies who drive in Formula 1, there are many who surround it as a support system. On the occasion of International Women’s day where the Red Bull’s reserve driver, Daniel Ricciardo made headlines by counting and thanking the women of his life or the ones that have inspired him, the two first ladies of Milton Keynes weren’t behind in celebrating the feminine power. Max Verstappen‘s girlfriend, Kelly Piquet, applauded the spicy throwback made by Geri Halliwell.

A former Spice Girl, Geri Halliwell aka Ginger Spice is married to the Red Bull TP, Christian Horner. And the famous Brazilian model, Kelly Piquet is the team’s double world champion and Verstappen’s partner. We often see the two hanging out together in the paddock and standing with the team during the massively recurring podium celebrations. Recently, when Halliwell posted a picture of her band days, Kelly became one of the many to shower her love.

The British Girl Band sometimes still comes together to partake in royal commitments or toward their nation, like the 2012 London Olympics. Some of the comments from the said Instagram post are as follows:

“Girl power! As a 14/15-year-old in the Spice era, you made me believe we could do anything! Happy international women’s day all of you! Inspired a generation.”
