We’re all aware of how compassionate Lewis Hamilton is about animals. We often see Hamilton’s best pal Roscoe accompanying him on the paddock. Although not just a dog lover, Hamilton loves all animals equally, even “dags”.

We know that makes little to no sense and seems like a blatant typo. However, this is a Lewis Hamilton typo or we cannot come to grips with what Hamilton is trying to say here.
Lewis Hamilton replies to a tweet by Lando Norris and Twitter scratches its head
Lando Norris posted a tweet of himself with a white-furred dog. The dog in the picture is lying on the ground as Norris is squatting next to the dog and possibly scratching its belly.
Norris captioned the tweet, “I like dogs.” A pretty standard tweet with a simple caption. However, Hamilton felt the need to correct the young Brit.
Hamilton replied to McLaren man’s tweet with, “You mean dags?” We’re not sure who’s right here and who’s wrong, but the Mercedes man’s reply has Twitter scratching its head.
Before we get into theories, that Twitter users are coming up with, we would like to present one of our own. We are all aware of Hamilton’s dog Roscoe’s Instagram account. There is no proof of it and Hamilton has never revealed this information, but there’s a feeling Hamilton writes the captions on Roscoe’s posts.
For reference, the captions go like, “I’s love’s the gym’s…this is mys workouts withs dads”. So it could be a possibility Hamilton let his Roscoe persona out in the reply to Norris’s tweet.
However, this is just one theory. Every fan on Twitter has their own regarding Hamilton’s reply.
Twitter theories on Hamilton’s “dags” reply
Fans on Twitter have multiple theories. Some are calling it a typo. Whereas others feel Hamilton meant to use the slang spelling “dawg”. However, there’s a theme in most of the reactions: confusion.
Let’s take a look at the original tweet and the reply first.
