FIA has been under immense pressure after the passing away of Dilano Van ‘t Hoff at Spa Francorchamps. Amid all the pressure of not stopping the FRECA race in Belgium on time to prevent the accident, FIA has green-flagged Brad Pitt’s dangerous outing despite Lewis Hamilton’s warnings. FIA banned the tire blankets for wet tires starting in 2023. However, a plan to ban tire blankets for slick tires was also introduced to the teams. Final voting with the teams will take place after this weekend’s British GP. Lewis Hamilton has already warned FIA about the dangers that come with banning the blankets suggesting “it’s dangerous” and will cause an incident at some point in time. 

On the other hand, the livery for the APXGP, the F2 converted F1 car that Brad Pitt will be driving around Silverstone, was released. Brad Pitt arrived in the paddock for the shoot. Brad Pitt is shooting for the F1-themed movie produced by Lewis Hamilton. Along with that @GuilyDuchessa also confirmed on Twitter that Brad Pitt will be taking part in the formation lap at Silverstone as well as the Pirelli Tire test due to be held on the 11th and 12th of July. Pirelli will be testing the dry tires without the tire blankets during the test.
