Charles Leclerc fans appear to have found another reason to love him even more. As it turns out, the Monegasque driver is a massive Potterhead. Ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix, a number of Formula 1 drivers were asked to name their favorite movies of all-time. Esteban Ocon is clearly a comic book movie lover because his favorite movie is The Dark Knight Rises. Meanwhile, Yuki Tsunoda’s movie choice, Transporter, should give an insight into where he learns all of his swear words.

George Russell’s choice is a little closer to home, as he likes the James Bond movie Casino Royale. For Max Verstappen, it was a toss-up between The Wolf of Wall Street and The Hangover. Alexander Albon was a man of culture with The Grand Budapest Hotel. Finally, Charles Leclerc got in touch with his childhood with Harry Potter.

George Russell had some blackmail material on Charles Leclerc

During the same press conference, Leclerc’s answer jogged Russell’s memory. He then revealed that he had an old video of the Ferrari star pretending to be a wizard. The alarmed Leclerc begged him not to reveal it, but some sneaky screenshots revealed damning evidence. A few stills revealed Charles Leclerc standing with a broomstick tucked between his legs. Clearly, he fancied himself as a Quidditch player and had a bit of fun.

Now, Russell may make good on his promise to not share the incriminating video. However, the screenshots are doing the rounds on social media and people are loving it. Apparently, the photos and video were from all the way back in 2012, so it was surprising that George Russell held onto them for so long.

Charles Leclerc has done some silly stunts in the past

Oddly enough, Leclerc dressing as a wizard seems a bit on-brand for the Monegasque driver. A few years ago, he was spotted streaming on Twitch while wearing a banana suit. The best part was that he looked completely comfortable in it and not in the least bit embarrassed. It just goes to show that it is great that the F1 drivers have such colorful personalities, and that’s why fans love them.

For now, Charles Leclerc is looking forward to his home race. This is a track that has not been particularly kind to him, as he has never won the Monaco Grand Prix. He started on pole in 2021 and 2022 but has only managed to finish as high as 4th, so he will be aiming to change that this weekend.
