The king of streets, Sergio Perez claimed another street circuit on Sunday when beginning from the pole he took his fifth career win at Jeddah Corniche Circuit. The Mexican stepped up for his team as his teammate, Max Verstappen, was stuck at P15 due to an issue during the qualifying. While everyone rejoiced to see the talented Perez take the win, one man standing in the Red Bull crowd caught everyone’s eye.

It was none other than Jos Verstappen. The senior Verstappen’s son didn’t win, and he didn’t hide his disappointment because as he gave a cold shoulder to Perez at the parc ferme celebrations. To add to that, he even shared a painfully awkward moment with his son where fans spotted Christian Horner looking happier for the mega drive Max pulled off coming from P15 to P2.

As quoted by Formule1.nl, furthering his cold behavior, Jos stated, “I don’t think he (Pérez) gets the chance to win that often. He sees that too and then fully goes for it.” This arrogant statement which clearly takes a dig at the Mexican driver brushing away his effort and efforts of more than a decade-long career rubbed the fans the wrong way.
