When it comes to winning races, taking pole positions, and picking up championships, Lewis Hamilton is a serious man. With him having 103 race wins and seven F1 world championships, anyone will definitely take him seriously and act accordingly in his presence. However, does he do the same in return? As it turns out, despite his serious demeanor on track, Hamilton is one of the “funniest” men when it comes to pranks. Pulling bizarre pranks on his teammates, the Brit has made a name for himself. George Russell revealed all about it in the newest Drive to Survive season, to which fans shared their thoughts online.
Netflix released Drive to Survive season 5 on February 24 worldwide. The American streaming giants dedicated the second episode of the docu-series to the Brackley-based team. In the episode, Russell let the world know about his teammate’s prank and the world couldn’t keep it together.

In the show, Russell revealed that Hamilton gifted him an underwear! And not just any simple one. It was an underwear with the British flag’s color!
Russell said during the show, “Lewis said ‘I got you a present.’ He got a pair for everyone in the team” as he continued with chuckles. The former Williams driver went on, “Not too sure I’ll be wearing them anytime soon.”
This means the prank gift wasn’t just for his teammate but also for the entire team.

Interestingly, the last Drive to Survive season faced stiff criticism. Despite being a formidable series to binge on, the show missed the crisp and grippy factor it had during the initial seasons back in 2019.
