Probably one of the biggest surprises from the Bahrain weekend was the performance of the Aston Martin men. Fernando Alonso might’ve taken the podium place in an incredibly quick and competitive Aston Martin. However, the big surprise from the Silverstone-based outfit’s garage was Lance Stroll. The Canadian made an incredible and swift recovery to take part in the race weekend despite breaking both his wrists. Stroll recently shared his recovery journey for the Bahrain weekend and the world is standing up in respect for the titanic recovery.

Stroll’s recovery was nothing short of miraculous. Because of the bike accident, Stroll sustained fractures in both wrists and right foot toe as well as injuries in the three body parts. Lance revealed that in the caption of his recovery montage, he shared on his Instagram.

Incredibly, the Canadian made it back and even crossed the chequered flag in sixth without any pre-season practice. However, this incredible comeback wasn’t possible without a host of medical professionals and his family and friends.

The Canadian conveyed his gratitude in the caption of his montage as well. He wrote, “Rehab required hard work and persistence – but with an incredible medical team and my friends and family supporting me – I was able to push through the pain and get back on track in Bahrain with my team and fellow drivers. I am thankful for everyone who supported me, sent kind notes and wishes! ❤️👊”

The fans are loving this incredible recovery from Stroll and even shared their appreciation for the Canadian’s efforts. However, the video montage is showcasing a completely different side of his recovery and the fans can’t help but salute the Canadian.

The Candian, with only a little ray of hope for Bahrain, made the best comeback possible. Even his doctor told him chances of racing again realistically lie in Jeddah. The Canadian did not take that suggestion and proved everyone wrong.
