More than a racing competition, Formula 1 is a full-fledged business in all manners of the term. In fact, one of the biggest sources of a team’s revenue is marketing. Every team and driver has a massive image value attached to them which is why all Formula 1 teams invest highly in their image and in turn, generate revenue as well. This is why every team’s logo is as good as their image and any attempts to sully this image can be declared as an act of war. This is exactly what Christian Horner did with Ferrari boss Frederic Vasseur. However, Vasseur instantly turned toward Helmut Marko to exact revenge.
As seen on Twitter, during a live report before the start of the Belgian GP in the background, we can spot Marko and Vasseur engaged in conversation. During this conversation, Christian Horner snuck up next to Vasseur and made a cheeky attempt. However, Vasseur caught up to Horner’s attempts and turned to Marko.

Horner slyly put a sticker on Frederic Vasseur‘s shoulders during his conversation with Marko. After a few seconds, the Frenchman noticed the sticker on his shoulder and instantly broke into laughter. However, soon after noticing the sticker, and pointing it out to a colleague, Vasseur pulled the sticker from his shoulder.
The Red Bull TP, quickly made himself scarce after Vasseur noticed the sticker. By the time the Ferrari boss pulled the sticker out, Horner was gone. After evaluating his options of discarding the sticker, Vasseur turned to Marko and attempted to stick it on his forehead. We are not sure if the Ferrari boss’s attempts to exact revenge were successful or not. However, the sheer audacity in the attempt was hilarious in itself.
Although, this isn’t the first time Horner was out disparaging the Ferrari name during a race weekend.
