Lando Norris has been having an unluckily tough time on the racetrack. To take a break from that, he visited Marbella, a small city in Southern Spain, with some friends. The group also included TikTok influencer, Jennie Dimova. Despite being on vacation, he couldn’t escape the bad luck. Their villa got robbed when they were out for dinner. And this is the second time that Norris has gotten robbed since stepping foot in F1.
Back in 2020, Lando Norris was a spectator at the Euro 2020 finals between England and Italy. After the match, his expensive Richard Mille watch, worth around $180,000, was snatched from him at Wembley Stadium. The British racer was “Shaken” after the robbery. 3 years later, he has been robbed again but this time, more “expensive” items have been stolen.

His friend Jennie Dimova opened up on TikTok about the incident immediately after the robbery. But the Briton was tight-lipped about the incident. Now, 4 days after the incident, Norris too has spoken about it. Norris told PA Media, “We were out for dinner and our villa got robbed. A mixture of many things were stolen. Some were expensive and some were not so expensive.”
With the Austrian GP weekend starting, Norris has no choice but to let the police do their job, and he has to dial back into the zone.

McLaren Team Principal Andrea Stella had said that the team would be bringing in upgrades in 3 stages. 50% in Austria, and 25% each in Silverstone and Hungary. But they seemed to have fast-tracked the process. Lando Norris has even commended the team for a quicker turnaround time.
Norris told Sky Sports, “The team have done a good job. We weren’t meant to have these bits here originally, it was only meant to be for Silverstone. So it’s the first upgrade that’s really meant to bring performance and make us go quicker.”
