Two-time F1 world champion, Fernando Alonso, despite being 41-year-old, shows no signs of slowing down as he embarks on a new journey. The Spaniard will begin his new adventure with Aston Martin from 2023 onwards.

Aston Martin convinced the world champion to join them in a bid to win races and eventually titles in the long run. However, Alonso carries a reputation for being difficult to manage if he does not get his way. Although, Alonso’s former teammate and countryman Pedro de la Rosa believes otherwise.

Speaking to the media, Aston Martin’s newly appointed ambassador revealed how to approach Alonso once he joins the team. “I don’t think that Fernando is a difficult guy to handle,” said De la Rosa

And added, “As long as you always tell him exactly what’s going on, and what is the truth, you will never have a problem with him. But the moment you try to hide information or he feels you are trying to keep some information aside, you will have problems.”

“He is just a very competitive individual. That’s the reality. If you are as competitive as him, you won’t have any problem with Fernando,” De la Rosa concluded.
