Lando Norris has impressed more than a few people with his performances this season. While everyone knew he was a talented driver, his consistency and fight this year have left everyone awestruck. And two-time world champion Mika Hakkinen is no different, and his recent F1 column was was full of praises for the young Briton.
The former Mclaren driver stated in his column that, apart from Red Bull, Norris’ performance has impressed him this season.
His strong performance and smart thinking did not go unnoticed, as Hakkinen also recognized Norris‘ smart decision-making in the race. “On Sunday he did not try to race the Red Bulls and Mercedes, realising that McLaren’s major competitor in the World Championship for Constructors is Ferrari,” said Hakkinen.
