Former F1 Driver Adrian Sutil’s McLaren Senna LM Destroyed in a Crash

In a report published by Yahoo sports, Former F1 driver Adrian Sutil was left red-faced and footing a very hefty repair bill for his crashed McLaren Senna LM. It is not known whether the German was driving the $1 million supercar or was sitting on the other side when the crash took place.

Adrian Sutil has neither confirmed nor denied the claims. However, since this is a McLaren Senna and somebody crashed it, pictures were bound to go viral on social media.

The situation of the car isn’t too good, to be honest. As can be seen, the front is totally wrecked and it looks like a big crash. The good news was that Sutil escaped the accident largely unscathed, as claimed by the various reports.

McLaren Senna

The McLaren Senna isn’t your everyday roadcar. As a matter of fact, it isn’t even your everyday McLaren. Named after F1 Legend Ayrton Senna, the car is a personification of his DNA. It signifies speed and precision, as was the case with Ayrton. Owing this, is like owning a piece of art, a piece of history, something that only the top 1% of the population can think of.
The car in question here in these photos and videos is the Sennna LM. A rare limited edition model with only 24 units ever made by the company.

To make matters worse, McLaren has sold only 20 units of the Senna LM. Additionally, the 800 bhp 4-liter bi-turbo V8 powered machine is tailor-made for expert drivers/F1 caliber drivers. The small batch was made to commemorate McLaren’s Le Mans victory in the 90s.

Adrian Sutil: A look back at his F1 Career

Sutil made his F1 debut in 2006 as the Midland F1 team’s reserve and test driver. A year later, he got promoted to a full-time racing seat with the freshly formed Spyker F1 team.

In 2008, his career began to shift upwards when he joined the fledgling Force India Formula One team.

After a finish of 4th in his first season, he and the team turned in better results and more consistent points finishes. Sadly, he never really got a chance to set foot on the podium, with that 4th place in Italy being his best-ever finish.

Finally, in 2014, he joined the Sauber F1 team but endured a tough season with no points finishes.
