Verstappen looks to be in great form even before the new season. As Toto Wolff already stated that he’s in a league of his own, former F1 champion thinks everything’s “too easy for Max Verstappen” at the moment.
In an interview with Sky Sports, the 1996 F1 Champion, Damon Hill, conveyed, “It all seems almost a little too easy for Max Verstappen. Every time someone is fast, Max goes out on the track and comes to the front. For me, that’s an indication that they have reserves.”

Red Bull reduced their porpoising effect on their cars, while their straight-line speed is decent as well. The Austrian team looks to be in an advantageous situation as compared to Mercedes, who are still to work on their speed and porpoising. Moreover, Max Verstappen looks to be in solid form for Red Bull ahead of the Sunday GP.
Red Bull’s star driver Max has been a constant performer in both the pre-season testings. The 24-year-old excelled in Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya as well as three days of testing of Bahrain. Both times, Verstappen managed to stay on the top of the timesheet. However, Leclerc still managed to beat the Dutchman at the very end of qualifying by snatching the pole position, being one-tenth ahead of Max.
