“Forgot David”: Soccer Sensation Beckham Gets Ignored as Lewis Hamilton’s Superfan Tops Lando Norris’ Exclusive List

Lewis Hamilton is the biggest star to come out of the world of F1. The Brit has amassed a massive following over the course of his F1 career with his personality and his achievements on and off the track. However, the world of F1 is very limited. There are stars beyond who have touched greater heights and excelled in various areas of life. Although all those stars, at some point in their lives, have paid a visit to the track and some of them are even fans of Hamilton. One such fanboy paid a visit to the legendary Monaco track recently. It was perhaps because of this visit Lando Norris forgot about and excluded English soccer legend David Beckham from his list.

David Beckham is arguably one of the smartest and most popular soccer stars to come out of the sport. The Brit used his position in world soccer and even secured a discounted price to become a team owner. Now the Inter Miami man is a popular figure among the elites and was on top of the game during his active years, like Lewis Hamilton. However, during a McLaren YouTube video, Norris completely ignored Beckham for Hamilton’s fanboy.

During the review, when the question “Who is the most followed person that follows you?” in regards to Instagram came up, Norris said, “Tom Holland.” That was his answer in the 2023 version. Although in the 2022 version of the video, Norris’s answer was “David Beckham? That’s true? Yeah, we’re homies.” After the 2022 clip, Norris said, “Okay, I forgot David. Gross!”

However, the current answer is still indeed David Beckham, as the English footballing legend and the owner of Inter Miami has 80.8 million followers. Holland, in comparison, is a few million followers short at 66.7 million.

However, this is the common fixture of being in the limelight. As soon as you’re not, people start to forget. In fact, both Hamilton and Beckham have become a victim of this in the past.
