Similar to Formula 1, the premier footballing competition is live. The World Cup fever has spread and Lewis Hamilton has caught it as well. The Brit was supporting his team last night for their game against Wales, the centuries-old rival of England. However, during the screening, the Brit caught some Welsh fans supporting Ghana.
We know that doesn’t make sense because the Ghanaian national team is not even in the same group. But then what made Hamilton draw the connection between Wales and Ghana?

Well, while watching the England Vs Wales match, the camera panned on the Welsh fans. Hamilton noticed the fans were sporting peculiar hats. The hats that the Welsh fans were wearing were bucket hats in red, yellow, and green colors.
Hamilton quickly clicked a photo of his TV screen and shared it on his story with a caption. The caption read, “Is it me, or have the Welsh fans stolen Ghana’s merch? Lol”.
Now, if you are not aware, the Wales flag is of a red-colored dragon with a white and green background. Ghana, on the other hand, has a flag with the colors red, yellow, and green on it. So if you are a Welsh fan wearing a bucket hat with red, yellow, and green colors on it, it would seem that you are wearing a ‘stolen’ hat.
British people are known for their banter. And Lewis surely didn’t disappoint.
At the end of the match, however, the Brit wouldn’t have cared too much as England beat Wales with a 3-0 score. Although do you wonder who the Mercedes man is supporting in the FIFA World Cup?
