After months of restless nights and aimless weekends, Formula 1 race weekend is finally here. The drivers will kick things off with free practice sessions on Friday for the season opener in Bahrain. Fans from across the world will tune in to watch the much-anticipated racing competition and back their favorite drivers. Unsurprisingly, the NFL team Denver Broncos also took to social media to support its part owner Lewis Hamilton. However, the Broncos were greeted with some routine heckling by the F1 fans from opposing factions.
The entire Formula 1 world is aware of the Max Verstappen–Lewis Hamilton rivalry. The two world champions had a fierce 2021 season as rivals, and it is still fresh in the memories of F1 fans. Recently, the Broncos got a fair idea of how far the orange army would go to discredit the Brit.
Broncos shared a digital artwork on their social media platforms showcasing their support for Hamilton ahead of the Bahrain GP. Hamilton recently became part owner of the NFL team. Announcing the return of F1 action and supporting their owner, Broncos tweeted, “@F1 is back this weekend! 🏎 Best of luck to #Broncos Owner @LewisHamilton as he returns to the grid!”
