A successful sporting celebrity like Lewis Hamilton needs support from his entourage to stay on top of his game. They are what fans would generally call the “inner circle,” which in general guides athletes to do better.

One such person in Hamilton’s inner circle is his physiotherapist Angela Cullen. She has often been spotted in and around the paddock. The six-time world champion has now opened up on what she brings to the table.

Speaking in an interview, Hamilton is quoted as saying, “People for sure don’t understand it, naturally because they see it from a distance. But she has been one of the greatest things that’s happened to me in my life.”

Lewis Hamilton had previously worked with Angela back home

The British driver once again stressed the fact that how a lot of trainers in Formula 1 are not ‘real physios.’ Angela,  being a natural physiotherapist, has also previously helped Hamilton before.

The Briton believes that Angela is one of the most positive people

Hamilton does have many positive people working with him, both on and off the track. He has also previously accredited his success to these select few, who have motivated him to become the icon he is today.

“Every day I wake up whatever time it is, she’s just positive. Never a single day has she been negative. And that’s very, very, very important.
