The race at the temple of Speed just concluded, with Red Bull’s Max Verstappen clinching another win. The Dutchman looked unstoppable once again this weekend as he managed to snatch the victory from the clutches of Charles Leclerc. However, the F1 fans have something to share about it.
The race at Monza finished behind the safety car that was triggered by Daniel Ricciardo at Lap 47. The race didn’t restart as the cars crossed the finish line behind the green Aston Martin safety car. Here, the fans have something to complain about.

The F1 fans brought the 2021 Abu Dhabi incident to relevance due to the involvement of the safety car in the later stages of the race. The 2021 race saw Nicholas Latifi crash and trigger the safety car, which was taken in just before the final lap. However, things were a little different here in Italy as Verstappen, Leclerc, and Russell all came home behind the safety car.
What do the F1 fans have to say after the Red Bull win?
The F1 fans have argued that Red Bull gets preference from the FIA. If the same rule was followed in 2021 Abu Dhabi like that of 2022 Monza, Lewis Hamilton could have been the World Champion for the eighth time. Hamilton could have finished behind the safety car with Max Verstappen in P2 at Abu Dhabi.
Here is what the fans have to say about this.
FIA and @redbullracing helping each other out. What a joke. FIA should be removed from the scene

Rules are rules, he's right. They just weren't followed in Abu Dhabi, and that's what people are saying. But people ignore it.

Moreover, if the safety car was withdrawn before the last lap, fans argued Leclerc might have a chance at taking the win from Verstappen. Interestingly, some fans have also mentioned Michael Masi, the former F1 race director.

Max Verstappen, who was trailing at Abu Dhabi, was leading at Monza. The scenario played out perfectly for him to pick up two victories, one being life-changing in the UAE.
