Scuderia Ferrari became one of the recent teams to unveil their 2022 challenger, the F1-75, at a grand launch event on Thursday. After a major turnaround in 2021, driver duo Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will look to take the team to newer heights in the coming season. The season comes with a major overhaul in F1 regulations, arguably the biggest since 1983.

The teams have been working day in day out to make a near-ideal car for 2022. As the season approaches, there are speculations that Ferrari and McLaren might join the two big players at the top. Since the beginning of the turbo-hybrid era, Mercedes have established a clear dominance, being only outperformed once by Red Bull in 2021.
However, the power dynamics will certainly change in 2022, for the better. Ferrari has been searching for a title since 2007 and this new season comes with a lot of possibilities. The midfield battle between McLaren and Ferrari invited a lot of traction in 2021. It was almost equally fierce to the title fight at the front.

McLaren had the upper hand initially, thanks to Lando Norris and his exceptional form in the first half. However, as Norris saw a dip in the second half, Sainz and Leclerc capitalized well to take the Maranello team at the top of the midfield.
Ferrari veiled a dig at McLaren following the launch of the F1-75
McLaren launched their 2022 challenger MCL36 just a few days before chief rival Ferrari. The highlight of yesterday, except the FIA reshuffling, of course, was the all-new Ferrari F1-75. The team has stuck to the color scheme of a red body being complimented by black color blocks on the halo, rear wing, and front wing.
Hey, cool car man, cool car man, what is that, Ferrari?

In a hilarious development, McLaren cheekily commented on the new F1-75 on Twitter. The tweet read, “Hey, cool car man, cool car man, what is that, Ferrari?” The Ferrari social media team quickly responded to this, taking a hilarious jibe at the worthy opponents. “Definitely not a McLaren,” read a reply from Scuderia Ferrari’s official handle.
