When Cognizant was announced as a sponsor for Aston Martin, the question of how they would mix pink and green branding for their livery confused many. However, once they launched their paint schemes, fans were more than happy and even termed it one of the best liveries of the season.

Unfortunately, there were some people who weren’t satisfied with it, and one of them was the team’s sponsors – BWT. Calling for a change to the team’s livery, BWT stated that the car disappeared amongst the other cars and said that pink livery would make it more visible on TV.

Aston Martin will look to pop more on Tv without losing the green: Otmar

As reported by GPfans, according to BWT, the British Green of the Aston Martin needs to pop out on the TV screens. Aston Martin Team Principal Otmar Szafnauer dismissed reports of Aston Martin changing its livery from green to pink any time soon. However, he mentioned they might make a few tweaks to make it more noticeable.

“With a name like Aston Martin, and Aston being green traditionally, and we’re growing the Formula One team, I would think we will stay green. I mean, Ferrari is red, Aston will be green,” said Szafnauer.

Szafnauer acknowledged that the livery does need to pop more for the TV screens. “I believe we should be looking at making it pop a bit more on television without losing the green when you’re looking at it outside.
