The incredible pace and performance of the Ferrari F1-75 is catching everyone by surprise. Because of this, their drivers are delivering exceptional performances, race after race.

Leclerc, in particular, is gathering a lot of praise from around the globe, especially from the Formula 1 racing fraternity. Praises coupled with comparisons that too of the highest level are coming Charles’s way.

Charles Leclerc reminding Ferrari of glory days

Starting the season brilliantly, Charles is on cloud nine right now. Gathering praise from across the globe, he is at the height of his career. After the Australian GP, Leclerc even became the first driver to get his team, Ferrari, a grand slam since 2010.

Singing his praise after the race, one of many is former Formula 1 racer, David Coulthard. Coulthard drew comparisons between Charles and the legendary Michael Schumacher. The former driver shared the track with Michael during his peak. And Coulthard saw glimpses of Michael in Charles’s display at the Australian Grand Prix.

“I shudder in front of Charles’s performance: right now he is showing a superiority that reminds me of Schumacher. Leclerc dominates just like Michael did. He is not only a rider in a state of special form, but also a good guy.” said Coulthard. As far as praises go, this probably is the highest a Formula 1 driver can receive. Not to forget that Leclerc is sporting the same racing outfit Michael did back in the day.

A lot of praise to go around

Coulthard believes the praise is to be shared among the whole Ferrari camp. After a tough couple of years, Ferrari is back on the track and shows no signs of slowing down. “Mattia Binotto has always kept calm in the last two years, which have proved to be very difficult. Under his leadership, Ferrari has rolled up its sleeves and now has the best car so far.” added Coulthard.
