The 2022 season ushered in a new era in F1. The regulation changes offer a new lease on life to many teams. It has also helped Ferrari to find its way to the top of the F1 grid again. The prancing horse has spent the last 2 seasons fighting for 3rd in the championship. However, that is not where the most decorated team in F1 belongs.

The prancing horse could not have asked for a better start to the season. The team achieved pole in qualifying and secured a dream 1-2 finish with Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz.

This win comes after the team’s second longest wait ever, two years, five months, and 26 days. Their last win coming at Singapore with Sebastian Vettel at the helm.

Are the Reds Back for Good?
The new era has brought success for the team in red. Not only did their car dominate the pre-season testing but they also dominated the race. Moreover, even the Ferrari-powered teams like Haas and Alfa Romeo have also enjoyed a revival.

Currently, the team is clear of any competition on the grid, securing pole and also the 1-2 finish. Their immediate rivals, Red Bull and Mercedes, have both struggled with their cars this season. Considering this, the Reds will ideally look to keep up the momentum by getting another win at Jeddah this week.
