Ferrari’s start to the season has been phenomenal. It is their best season start in a long, long time. Having picked up five podiums in six possible chances, the team boss applauds Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz for putting on such a valiant display.

Charles Leclerc picked up two wins and a P2 in three races. Leclerc leads the championship with 71 points and he’s already 34 points clear ahead of P2 George Russell. As compared to Carlos, Charles is in a better place. However, Binotto thinks the Spaniard will come right back at him in the next few races.

As a matter of fact, Carlos Sainz picked up a P2 and P3 in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. Unfortunately, the Spaniard suffered from the Red flag by Alonso as he couldn’t put up a faster time on board in Q3. This resulted in him starting from P9. However, an early difficulty in driving compelled Sainz to take premature retirement in Melbourne. Sainz currently sits in P3 in driver’s standings despite a DNF in three races.

Talking about the drivers, Mattia Binotto conveyed, “Both of our drivers are very fast and very strong. Carlos is looking for the best form. This weekend he was riding very well even if some circumstances did not help him, but I am convinced that he will put Charles on the ropes in the next races ”.
