Fernando Alonso is one of the most experienced drivers on the Formula One grid. The two-time champion is still regarded as a gritty driver who can make life tough for his competitors on any given day. In 2021, the Spaniard came up with “El plan”.
The Formula One community is still wondering what “El plan” is, and Alonso has revealed what it is. To everyone’s surprise, Fernando himself doesn’t know what it is, as it started as a joke, and people became serious about it.

When Fernando first introduced “El plan” to the world of Formula One, many were intrigued to know what it was.
When asked about “El plan,” Fernando said, “It’s a good question, I started to see it too. It’s one of the things that social networks have now. They started with ‘The Plan’, ‘The Plan’, ‘The Plan’ and I don’t really know what it is either. ‘ The Plan. ‘ It is bad to say it, but I don’t know what The Plan is either.”

He added, “I think it is part of ‘The Plan’ not knowing exactly what ‘The Plan’ is . You have to bet, you have to bet. That is ‘The Plan’: scare without knowing.”

How did Alonso perform in 2021?

The two-time world champion rejoined the Formula One grid after two years. He signed with Alpine, formerly known as Renault, where he won his two championships.
Many were skeptical about Alonso‘s performance after having a two-year hiatus. But, to everyone’s surprise, the Spaniard hadn’t missed a beat; he even finished third at the Qatar Grand Prix.
