Fernando Alonso Impresses Fans With His “Sexy” & “Retro” F1 Gear for 2023: “Great Almost Back To..”

Fernando Alonso has a sizable fan base, which is a result of both his racing prowess and charisma. Since 2001, the guy has been the center of the fans’ affection, and during his long career, he has drawn notice for his decisions. It can depend on the team’s choices in certain cases and on the F1 gear in others. The 41-year-old is a seasoned competitor, however, the double champion will be a rookie for Aston Martin in the forthcoming season.

As we all know, the week of livery releases is currently underway, and yesterday, Aston Martin unveiled their AMR23. Fans immediately noticed that not only had the driver’s apparel changed but also his headgear, as a result of the switch of teams. The 41-year-old took to his social media handle and uploaded the new helmet pictures. The brand-new helmet is reminiscent of Alonso’s helmet from 2006, which featured a yellow color with blue undertones. And in this case, the Spaniard has chosen to stick with his general two-tone blue, red, and yellow fundamental design.

On his Social media, Fernando Alonso wrote, “2023 Helmet.” After the Spaniard posted the picture, followers exploded on Twitter and Instagram. Furthermore, you’ll note that every color Alonso wore in 2006 is available in the new helmet. In 2006, Alonso won his second championship and was visibly driving in his own league the entire season. The seven-time champion, Michael Schumacher faced a stiff challenge from the Spaniard that year as well. And fans are now comparing the helmet with the retro headgear of 2006.
