There have been new shifts in the F1 world. The next season is going to be exciting with new names and some old, whilst most of them will drive/be associated with a new team for the season of 2023.

Aston Martin’s Nico Hülkenberg, who serves as the reserve driver, is rumored to make his move to Haas as Aston Martin announced an official welcome to Belgian Prodigy Stoffel Vandoorne as their reserve driver earlier on their socials. This also indicated Daniel Ricciardo’s shift to Mercedes might be coming to fruition.

Daniel Ricciardo‘s contract officially ends at the end of the season. The Aussie’s next move in the F1 world has been uncertain for quite some time now. However, there have consistent rumors about the Honey-Badger taking up the position of the reserve driver at Mercedes.

The Honey-Badger did confirm that he would not be on the grid for the year 2023, but hopes to come back stronger in 24′. Many believe that taking up the role of the reserve driver will still keep him close to the F1 community. However, many seem concerned about his return.

The decision of Daniel Ricciardo to join forces with the Silver Arrows may benefit him, however, many seem skeptical about his seat in the season of 24′ as Mercedes star Lewis Hamilton would still be actively driving for the team. And George Russell may also still be around.

With his level of expertise and experience, Mercedes would definitely want him on their roster. But how much the Aussie will gain out of this collaboration still remains a question. Daniel Ricciardo, however, has emphasized that ‘nothing is set in stone’ yet.

With unofficial news about Nico’s move to Haas, many celebrate as they believe he’d finally be behind the wheel for the upcoming season. However, some do not believe the word going around.

The die-hard F1 fans had a debate on Twitter as they speculate and share how they feel about the series of changes.
