It was a frantic start to the Spanish Grand Prix, and an incident between Kevin Magnussen and Lewis Hamilton has now caused a debate. Kevin was trying to go around the outside of Hamilton and the two had a coming together. This caused Kevin to go into the gravel while Lewis picked up some damage.

As it seemed, Kevin was not happy about the situation and made his feelings very clear on the radio. The Danish driver said,  “**** Lewis just rammed me. He knew what he was doing”.

Lewis Hamilton on the other hand was not so sure that he could finish the race. “I would save this engine for you guys, I’m sorry,” said the seven-time world champion. His race engineer Peter Bonnington was more upbeat and said to Lewis that a P8 finish was still possible.

SkySports commentator Ted Kravitz claimed that Lewis’s car had taken a lot of beating and that his diffuser was damaged. Lewis’s race has taken quite the turn that Mercedes wasn’t expecting. “I don’t like hearing him like that,” added former F1 driver Martin Brundle.

Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton’s teammate, George Russell, is having the good of a race. The former Williams driver is currently fighting for the podium and is in the mix with the Red Bulls.

Lewis Hamilton fans are not happy with Magnussen’s move into Turn 4

Meanwhile, the stewards gave their decision and decided that no further action is required. F1 journalist Chris Medland tweeted, “Replay from Hamilton’s onboard looks like Hamilton was pretty blameless in that, I think Magnussen just got a bit too tight from the outside and gave him a puncture.”

And Twitter users weren’t happy about the incident either.
