Apart from being the most popular face of F1, one can count Lewis Hamilton as a titanic fashion icon. The Mercedes ace is one of the few drivers to go beyond the traditional way of racing and establish themselves as style icons. When he arrived at the scene, the man from Stevenage changed the scene and reinvented the paddock appearance.
Emphasizing this, Vincenzo Landino, renowned F1 personality, and his co-host VF1, shared their take on the seven-time world champion’s showmanship. The Formula One blogger, in the VF1 show said, “When Lewis joined F1, because people were really curious about Lewis Hamilton and there was a lot of interest in him and he didn’t look like anyone on the grid.”
“Like he had swagger mask, he was bringing on, a kind of laid the foundation to people to be more, I think elevate the showmanship if you will. Now everyone’s curious, what’s he wearing? People distinctly photographing drivers just for their outfits, drivers’ girlfriends for their outfits,” she further stated.

“This isn’t just talking about brakes, engineering, aerodynamics technology and all that, there are so many more things that contribute to the sport and without social media, we can’t talk about what the drivers are wearing, what their girlfriends are wearing.
