McLaren has had a very successful year so far. Lando Norris has brought back multiple trophies, and let’s not forget the immense success at Monza for the entire team. As the team set up their cabinet at the MTC, F1 fans noticed something was missing. As it turns out, Norris may be on the lookout for embezzlement.
McLaren took to Twitter to show off their freshly arranged “2021 cabinet.” On closer inspection, Norris’ Imola trophy seems to be left out. As it was the first of many 2021 podiums for Lando, the driver was excited about the trophy and had held on to it tightly. Making fun of the missing trophy, Twitter joked about the possibility of Norris having kept his trophy.

Twitter plays detective
The prime suspect remained the 21-year-old. As Mclaren fans called out to Norris to bring the silverware back home, the accusations were hilarious. If this was a planned robbery, maybe Lando should remember to hide his excitement next time!

Further, while some tried to convince Lando to bring back the trophy, others wanted another trophy added to the cabinet; the one Norris got for beating Ricciardo at ping pong! While that deserves a trophy, Ricciardo‘s tweet remains iconic enough. Maybe Norris can get the team to frame it.

Some things don’t go unnoticed by the McLaren fans. While the Norris fandom looked for the Imola trophy, others remembered Ricciardo’s emotional moment with Senna‘s trophy. Ricciardo had initially placed his McLaren winner’s trophy next to his hero’s Adelaide one. Now shifted, fans wondered if it would go back to its original cabinet.

McLaren fans spot another error in the cabinet
Looks like fans aren’t too happy with the small cabinet in the MTC. Sure of many more incoming trophies for the team over the next 7 races, fans urged the team to make space for more. With the McLaren machine’s spectacular form this season, the Papaya fans want more.
Additionally, with Ricciardo’s breakthrough victory, the 1-2 finish, and Norris’ spectacular race lead- the second half of the season has been orange. Now, with 7 rounds left to the season, fans expect nothing less from the Woking team.
and for sure you'll have to expand the space now at the end of the season!pic.twitter.com/Lq53Bpkb1O
