Romain Grosjean and his heroics in an IndyCar won the hearts of many. Making a strong comeback after a fiery end to his F1 career, Grosjean found success in IndyCar. After impressing grandly in the Dale Coyne car, Grosjean hobbled along to Andretti. Despite the remarkable record behind him, Grosjean chose to use another way to impress his new boss.

Grosjean posted a creative video of him doing cartwheels in front of his boss captioned: “How to impress your boss on your first day at work!”

Fans were quick to react to the former F1 drivers’ antics and even got just as clever with their comments. “Gunter be like: foke”, said one, poking fun at Grosjean’s Haas boss Guenther Steiner. Some even took inspiration from the driver! “Gonna do that in my interview tomorrow.”

Others gave the driver a safety net in case Andretti decided to fire him. “If your new boss doesn’t like you, you always can join Cirque du Solei.” But overall, people were glad he didn’t crash into Andretti’s desk. “You didn’t hit his desk. That was a really good cartwheel.”

While the driver’s acrobatics have certainly left their mark, Grosjean’s rookie season in IndyCar has done the same. Colton Herta has been the perfect example of what the car can do, something that puts Grosjean up to a challenge; one that he can easily ace.

His time in F1 has helped him develop a thick skin coming to the world of IndyCar. Thus, what was left incomplete in F1, drives Grosjean to meet his prospects in the series. Now, with a championship-contending car beneath him, victories and gathering points should come naturally to the driver.

Although Andretti is a big name in IndyCar, Grosjean is having his fun in America. Having shifted with his family recently shows how ardent he is about achieving success in the sport. Surely Andretti was fascinated enough already, even before the cartwheel.
