The 2023 F1 season holds a huge significance for the sport. That is because of multiple reasons. One of those is that the FIA’s attempt at leveling the playing field through car regulations and budget cap is finally showing some results. The other reason is that this season is the one that is bringing in many new elements. 2023 is going to be the longest F1 season ever with 23 fixtures and the newest addition of them all will be the Las Vegas GP. While the infrastructure around the track is under construction as of now, F1 and major media outlets are leaving no stone unturned to build the hype around the event. The latest attempt came in the form of renders of how the venue will look once completed. However, it failed to excite the fans.

F1, FIA, and Liberty Media are doing everything they can in their capacity to ensure that the Vegas GP is a massive success. That is because they have pumped in $240 million for state-of-the-art facilities in the paddocks and for the attendees.

Given how much F1 is investing, monetarily and marketing-wise, around the Vegas GP, there are no doubts that it will turn out to be a successful show. The hype is so strong around this fixture that the tickets for the Grandstand 6.4 are already sold out despite the fact that the facilities are still under construction. Hospitality tickets are still available and, as per F1’s official website, cost an eye-watering 7,824.70 Euros ($8,284.32).

This is a factor that has killed the vibe for many fans who wanted to be present in person to enjoy the race. Have a look at some reactions from Twitter.

One fan predicted that the fixture was only going to be a starry affair, with actual fans missing the opportunity of being there in person.

Singapore GP holds a special place in F1 fans’ hearts because of it being held under bright lights at night. One fan found the Vegas GP renders too similar to its Singaporean counterpart.

One fan felt the track won’t give drivers enough opportunities to overtake and therefore the race will end up being boring.
