Life as an F1 driver doesn’t end right after the race because surviving in the premier class takes a round-the-clock effort. This is why we are seeing plenty of drivers already training to get back in shape. However, there is one driver who, similar to the 2022 season, is outperforming the rest, Max Verstappen. As many fans noticed, Verstappen looked incredibly lean with a chiseled jawline at the RB19 launch. It’s all thanks, obviously to Verstappen’s training, which, as one would assume, he’s hard at. Now, a Dutch reporter has revealed insights into Verstappen’s training regime.
The New York launch event was Verstappen’s first public appearance since the 2022 Abu Dhabi GP. Soon media started discussing Verstappen’s well-trained facial structure and jawline. Dutch F1 reporter Erik van Haren discussed the reason behind it in a little detail in a video by De Telegraaf, as quoted by GP Fans.

He first acknowledged the fact and said, “Quite a lot of people said that when they saw Verstappen in the picture on Friday that he looked well-trained.”
Then he revealed his insider information on the Dutchman’s fitness and some details. “I spoke to some people from his camp. They said his training schedule has been adjusted a bit because they used to start training at the beginning or mid-January,” he revealed.
Talking about adaptability using a track’s example, he said, “Especially with races like Miami, with that humidity, it takes a while for a driver [to adapt to that].”
