Doesn’t matter if you are a 7-time world champion, we all need that occasional coffee break. But unfortunately, the cup of caffeine that Lewis got was ‘disgusting’. It was during one of the practice sessions when Lewis was spotted alongside his team, trying to understand the car better. Here, Hamilton, Toto Wolff, and George Russell were seen discussing a few things that were heard by the fans.

Mercedes has been performing well ahead of the race and qualifying. Hamilton particularly feels more comfortable in the car despite the bouncing. The FP2 session ended with him placed second and with not much difference between him and a Ferrari. Further, the W13 actually looked faster than the Red Bulls too.

Amidst all this, Twitter fans have reacted to Hamilton saying something. In the video, the seven-time world champion says, “Coffee is disgusting” while speaking to Wolff and Russell particularly.

Several fans believe this is a very British thing to say, given both Hamilton and Russell are Britons and would rather prefer tea. Further, there were also reactions to the way Hamilton looked at his teammate and how they bonded.

Silverstone weekend has been the most smooth ride for W13 this year. There haven’t been a lot of complaints about bouncing. Though it is still present, Hamilton has still certainly found the grip.

The past few days have not been particularly great for Hamilton. The driver has been a victim of abuse from former world champion Nelson Piquet. However, he has also received great support from everyone in the F1 community. Further, having a tough year with the Silver Arrows, Silverstone might be finally the place where he can compete.

When asked if they have made any changes to the ‘narrow sidepods, a Mercedes official reported, “Not quite [sidepods] but we’re looking at different front wings, rear wings, there’ll be some changes on the floor, so a few other bits and bobs.”

“But a lot of development this year is going on under the cars where people don’t see it, but this will be a bit more obvious to those looking.”
