In the blue corner, is the seven-time F1 world champion who holds the world record for most race wins and pole positions, Lewis Hamilton. While in the red corner is the four-time kickboxing champion, Andrew Tate with no F1 mileage under his belt, and still under the impression that he can KO the F1 ace in his own territory.

A few years ago, Tate attended a Grand Prix session on the track to get his first taste of the racing action. The talented drivers did not impress the 35-year-old as he believed that he can outperform them in their own machinery. Following that, the American slandered the F1 athletes, and at the heart of his slander was the driver synonymous with F1, Lewis Hamilton.

This is not the first time the internet personality has been in the limelight for his distasteful remarks. Such defamation incidents have previously led to his ban on the platform, Twitter. Now, adding to the list of social media ban is the Meta platforms, Facebook, and Instagram alongside TikTok; which the team LH feels was inevitable, given his remarks over Hamilton.

The kickboxer with his brother mocked the Mercedes ace as Tristan Tate stated, “No, watch out for a sec. But if Lewis Hamilton, yeah, got out of his car, and like I had to fight him for his car, f**king he’s like this tall” while resembling a person of short stature.

Andrew Tate replied by calling the Mercedes driver, “P*ssy, P*ssy.”

Meta’s statement against Andrew Tate

The internet can be a cruel place with opinions that can hurt the sentiments of large groups. The former kickboxer became an overnight internet sensation after he got evicted from the reality show Big Brother over a video that appeared to depict him attacking a woman.

Following his rise to internet fame, the former kickboxer has received consistent flak for his controversial views on feminism, patriarchy, misogyny, and sexism. Henceforth, the Meta admins found their hands tied and were left with no option but to forbid Andrew Tate from using the platform.

As stated by BBC, Meta said it had removed the kickboxing star from its platforms for violating its policies on dangerous organizations and individuals but did not provide further details.

Moreover, A TikTok spokesperson stated, “Misogyny is a hateful ideology that is not tolerated on TikTok.”

“We’ve been removing violative videos and accounts for weeks, and we welcome the news that other platforms are also taking action against this individual.”
