Formula 1 is in Italy to host its 16th race of the season. The iconic Monza track will see Ferrari giving it a special tribute. Similarly, the helmets have gone through a change too. The fans think that the change might confuse the F1 commentators. The F1 fans share their thoughts on Twitter.

Talking about the reason for the yellow tweaked livery, Ferrari stated,From the Scuderia’s beginnings in 1929 and later when the car company was founded 75 years ago, Enzo Ferrari chose yellow, which along with blue is one of the colors of the Modena emblem, to feature on the company’s coat of arms, the Prancing Horse with the tricolor band at the top,”

F1 commentator David Croft’s iconic “It’s lights out and away we go!” is a phrase known by F1 fans worldwide. Further, as the lights do go out and the havoc of the first lap begins, Crofty keeps his viewers updated by identifying drivers by their helmets. However, Leclerc and Sainz may have made his job a bit more difficult for Monza.

Ferrari makes Crofty’s job difficult

As the Italian team has returned to their home soil, the F1-75s will have a special tweaked yellow F1 livery. Similarly, the helmets have turned yellow too. Ferrari has unveiled the helmets of team drivers Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc and they look identical.

Apart from the primary red color of Ferrari, yellow is the second most important color. Interestingly, yellow is the mandated color for Ferrari that was adopted in the early 20th century.

The race suit has also been changed to yellow, whereas the halo sports a black shiny finish. ”

It’s a very special look to mark a very special occasion, the 100-year anniversary of the Monza circuit,” read the Ferrari statement.

As the race is inching closer, fans took to Twitter to share their hilarious ideas as both drivers revealed their yellow lids. With the same helmets, the chaos of the first lap is sure to get only more chaotic.
