Lawrence’s involvement in motorsport isn’t a new thing. The Canadian investor owned Circuit Mont-Tremblant from 2000 until 2021. Moreover, his son Lance Stroll had proven his talent on the track by winning the F3 championship in 2016. Williams brought Lance into F1 in 2017, where he became the second youngest driver ever to start a race and secure a podium finish.

Aston Martin made a bumper signing, roping in 4-time world champion Sebastian Vettel as the team made a comeback in F1 in 2021. The last time Aston Martin raced in the pinnacle of open-wheel motor racing was back in the 1960s.
