The title showdown between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen is just around the corner, and the pressure can often be rather unbearable. Not only for an emerging young talent like Verstappen, who is still undergoing a learning curve, but also a vastly experienced 7-time world champion like Hamilton.

Hence, as the Abu Dhabi GP weekend inches closer, we’d expect images of anxious and tense championship contenders to surface on the internet. But that isn’t the case with Verstappen.

Max Verstappen steals the show in Red Bull photo

Like any other season, all of the teams took part in their respective annual group photo session starring the boss, the drivers, the engineers, and the two challengers. Similarly, Red Bull hosted their own in front of their garage at Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi.

Interestingly, despite numerous heads present in the photo, it was Verstappen who managed to steal the limelight by posing rather hilariously.

The Dutchman had a subtle smile on his face. But that was barely the prominent part of the picture, as Verstappen was showing ‘the finger’ or as people often call, ‘fliping the bird’.

So, who do you reckon is on the receiving end of this ‘gift’ from the lead Red Bull driver? Well, we aren’t keen on stirring up any kind of controversy, but we’d say it probably belongs to one of his rival teams or maybe his haters?

The result is certainly going to sting for a few, thanks to the cult following both Hamilton and Verstappen have managed to garner with their wheel-to-wheel battling this season.
