Red Bull Racing unveiled their potential 2022 title-contending challenger, RB18, on Wednesday, and the livery wasn’t necessarily impressive; The design almost looked like the replica of their previous challengers albeit with a change in title partner branding, Oracle, on the rear wing and side pod. The same went with Haas, too, that yet again stuck with the White-Red-Blue livery much like in 2021. However, then arrived Aston Martin!
The British outfit unveiled their 2022 challenger, AMR22, on Thursday and the car looked absolutely stunning. Back in 2021, when Aston Martin blew the covers off their comeback machine, AMR21, a lot of fans showed a bit of displeasure over the color combination.

Considering Aston Martin’s partnership with BWT, the Lawrence Stroll-led outfit had to add a bit of Pink to their livery. Hence, many trolled the car to resemble a Watermelon citing the Green-Pink color combination. Well, that doesn’t seem to be a concern anymore!
With BWT terminating their partnership with Aston Martin, the Greens finally cherished the freedom of designing a livery without any obligation from any of their partners.
Aston Martin delivers a visually-stunning AMR22
After disappointments from Red Bull and Haas, Aston Martin managed to cheer up the fans with a fabulous-looking AMR22. The car no longer sported pink and instead shifted to their classic light green along with the ever-present dark green.
Furthermore, the car even had vents on the side pod which gave the car a bit more of an extravagant look. Sebastian Vettel, too, was over the moon after coming across his 2022 drive.
“Look at that car! Who wouldn’t feel excited about the prospect of racing that? And when it comes to hopes for the season, I do not think anyone really knows what to expect. There are new rules and of course, all the teams will be hoping that they have got it right,” he said during the launch event in Gaydon.
F1 Fans react to Aston Martin’s AMR22
Twitter went berserk as the fans witnessed the British outfit’s 2022 F1 car. With Red Bull and Haas setting the bar a tad too low, Aston Martin effortlessly stole the spotlight from the pair. Here are some of the tweets that caught our attention.
