Romain Grosjean had a premature exit from Formula 1 after his crash at the 2020 Bahrain GP. The US IndyCar sensation Grosjean enjoys popular support among F1 fans even though he has bid adieu to the sport. The Swiss driver recently shifted from his home Geneva to Miami after 5 pleasant years.
The Swiss driver has been constantly active on social media with updates on his new place in the US. However, a recent one invited a lot of attention on Twitter. He recently tweeted out that there was a snake in the pool of his new home in Florida. The F1 fans wasted no time in drawing parallels with the current F1 drama.
The 2021 F1 finale in Abu Dhabi saw some controversial calls be made towards the end, which changed the course of the championship. A chunk of the F1 community caught race director Masi in the heat of the situation. Although it has been a few weeks since the season ended, the controversy is still alive.

Twitter reacts to Romain Grosjean “snake in the pool” tweet
Grosjean drove for Dale Coyne Racing with RWR in the United States-based NTT IndyCar series in 2021. It is possible his professional commitments drove his move to shift to Miami. The Swiss pilot stood on the 15th spot in drivers’ standings in 2021 with 272 points.
More recently, he tweeted about a snake that he found in the pool of his house and F1 fans burst into funny reactions.

Here in Florida we have many adventures with wildlife! Don't panic when you see a palmetto bug. They may look like a giant flying cockroach but they can't hurt you!

Not lucky enough to have a pool, let alone a snake. You are winning in life 👌🏻
— Michael Woodhall (@Gunnerwood86) December 27, 2021
However, as per many locals, Grosjean was lucky it was a snake and not a more dangerous creature. They believe he got the first taste of what living in Florida is like. The overwhelming replies included the digs on many F1 protagonists, which is normal after a polarising season final.
