Lewis Hamilton is in London! The Briton is in his home country, currently visiting places and posting pictures about the same. The driver’s life requires him to travel a lot all over the globe. Notably, Hamilton has several abodes in various countries, including Britain, where he often comes back to visit family and friends.

The Briton is prepping up for the next race in Azerbaijan. The race is just a week away, and fans can’t wait for Hamilton to take on the streets of Baku. Lewis has not had the best 2022 season, struggling heavily to adjust to the car and heavy porpoising. Moreover, Mercedes F1’s performance has been arguably rather inconsistent this season.

Twitter reacts to Lewis Hamilton’s new pictures

Fans, however, have remained positive and widely support Hamilton still. They even reacted to the Briton’s latest pictures in London, dropping several nice comments as the driver posed. The driver looked rather stylish in a dark-colored jacket and vibrant sneakers, posing next to a famous Japanese & Mexican restaurant.

 

Safe to say that Hamilton enjoys his time whenever back in the country. Many of his posts are about his sisters’ kids, who he makes a point to visit and spend time with. Notably, his country also just hours ago celebrated the queen’s platinum jubilee.

Last year, the Mercedes driver received his knighthood from the royal family. The 37-year-old has even visited the Buckingham palace on several occasions. Understandably, the Billion Dollar Man is a celebrated entity in his home country.

George Russell has a bigger shot at the championship

Talking a bit more about his driving stats this season: the driver currently stands P6. Moreover, Hamilton has faced consistent comparisons with teammate George Russell. The 24-year-old has managed to place himself ahead of Hamilton only in his debut season with Mercedes.

Many consider Russell as a future world champion. He arguably has a closer shot to the championship and possibly only awaits a better car.
