It seems as if the Christian Horner investigation has dragged on for ages now. As we all know, the Brit is under scrutiny by Red Bull HQ for alleged “inappropriate behavior” toward a female employee. Trying to prove his innocence via conversation, the boss has sat down for one lengthy meeting with a third-party lawyer. Now as we all wait for the verdict, many make predictions, and former F1 racer Giancarlo Fisichella has made a concerning one for Max Verstappen and Co.

There has been a lot of speculation about the impact on Red Bull if Horner were to leave. Many predicted his oldest confidant Adrian Newey would leave, which he refuted. Others predicted different scenarios. However, according to an ex-Benton man, the team might lose its championship-winning factor if they lose Horner.

He replied, “It won’t be good for Red Bull if Christian Horner leaves. Christian is a great man and he’s been in charge for several years. They won so many races and championships with him and his fantastic work played a big role. Red Bull could be negatively affected if Christian leaves, and it could have a big role in predicting who’ll win the championship.”

The former Caterham F1 Team driver said, “I don’t see a suspension happening very quickly, but it is of course a stain on his name.  The team is now putting the finishing touches on it, but I don’t think Horner has to play a very big role in that.”
