F1 Legend Snubs Lewis Hamilton for a Pint of Beer Only Hours After Being Offered Cameo in Mercedes Driver’s Venture Starring Brad Pitt

What would you do if you were given a cameo in Lewis Hamilton’s latest film project? And that too with Brad Pitt as your co-star. You’d probably grab that opportunity. Whom would you choose to go out for a drink with? Well, I can tell you that I’d go out with Hamilton and thank him for the opportunity. However, an F1 legend was presented with the same opportunity, yet he snubbed the 7X World Champion and chose someone else. Who is this driver? Why did the F1 legend choose him?

Martin Brundle was unfortunately ignored by Brad Pitt at last year’s US GP when he asked questions about the upcoming F1-themed movie. Brad Pitt is the protagonist in Lewis Hamilton’s $140 million film project. Nonetheless, Brad Pitt was at the British GP to shoot some scenes for the upcoming movie. This time around, Martin Brundle got the chance to interview the Hollywood star. As Brad Pitt explained how some part of the movie is based on the 90s racing scene, he advised that Brundle has got to do a cameo in it since he raced back in those days.

However, when it came to choosing a driver who ‘the voice of F1’ fancies grabbing a drink with, Brundle chose Max Verstappen despite being offered a cameo in Lewis Hamilton’s film. Explain the reason why he chose Verstappen, Martin Brundle said, “Of all the drivers on the grid he [Max Verstappen] is the one I want to go out for a beer with, cause I find him extremely straightforward and honest lad to be honest.”

Choosing between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen would’ve been difficult for Brundle. Both drivers have different personalities yet are considered the GOATs of F1. Regardless, when Brundle finally got the chance to interview Brad Pitt, that was Deja Vu for the F1 legend as an English model ignored him during the Grid Walk.

Martin Brundle’s Grid Walk has become a staple in F1. The build-up to a Grand Prix feels incomplete without it. As usual, Brundle was going about his Grid Walk at Silverstone when he spotted Cara Delevingne. She is an English Model who walked the ramp for Victoria’s Secret and worked with brands like Burberry and Chanel. 

Brundle went up to Delevingne during the Grid Walk. The Model snubbed the chat and walked past. Martin Brundle must’ve been reminded of the 2022 US GP incident with Brad Pitt. However, this time around Brundle passed a spicy comment when she ignored him as he said, “I’m sure it would have been interesting.”
