Daniel Ricciardo is having a rough season as the driver struggles to make an impact. The Honey Badger again had a poor Miami qualifying because of the troubling car.
The McLaren duo had contrasting results in the Miami qualifying. Lando Norris secured P8 while the Aussie finished P14. The 32-year-old was frustrated after the Q2 elimination and even stayed silent after the session.

The Honey Badger showcased an excellent pace in Q1. But he had to spend most of the Q2 in the pit because of an issue with his MCL36. His late run in the Q2 didn’t give him enough time to get the temperature in his tires.
Fans react to the disastrous Miami GP Qualifying for Daniel Ricciardo
The Aussie was clearly not happy with the situation that he ended up in at the Saturday Qualifying in Miami. He didn’t say much even after his team informed him about the P14 qualifying over the radio. But the F1 fans also got furious at the orange outfit for the disappointing Miami Qualifying for Ricciardo.
The best answer he could give. Hope someone understand that they’re crossing the line…

he has to speak up at some point or he is going to get butchered by the media cause ain't no one in mclaren accepting their own fuck up and apologising from their driver in front of the media, this is maybe like the 5th time they send him out late over the 2 years

The F1 fans support the Australian driver and don’t hold him responsible for the poor result.
They instead took digs at the Woking-based team for not providing a proper car to Ricciardo.

Daniel Ricciardo’s struggle continues in Miami GP
The 2022 season isn’t sailing the way the Honey Badger wanted. The Aussie only finished top 10 once in the last four races. After the disappointing Imola GP, Ricciardo hoped to shine at the inaugural Miami GP, but those hopes crashed for Ricciardo with a Q2 elimination.

“The first run we lost a lot of time through the second sector, so there were a couple of things which we were looking to address for the second run..” Ricciardo reported after the qualifying, “But then we had an issue in the garage starting the car which delayed us getting out at the right time. This compromised the out-lap, and then it was all just too compromised from there. It was unfortunate and cost us Q3, and that was that.”
Meanwhile, his teammate Lando Norris is outperforming him in the 2021 season. The young Brit has finished top 10 three times in the last four races, including the third-place finish in Imola. And now he has qualified P8 for the Miami race.
