Netflix dropped in the fourth season of Formula 1: Drive to Survive on Friday. A lot of fans have already grazed through all of the ten episodes, as their feedback has subsequently begun to surface on Twitter.

Will Buxton yet again became the hot topic of the latest DTS season, thanks to his rather sarcastic and… *dramatic pause* charismatic way of describing certain events. A lot of memes featuring the F1 journalist have also shown up as the Briton even acknowledged one of them through his official Twitter handle. However, while there’s nothing but positivity on Buxton’s end, it has been all about criticisms when the attention turned towards Christian Horner.

Horner attracts hate through the latest Drive to Survive season

A whole lot of F1 fans were displeased with Horner’s alleged bitterness throughout the season. While his rival team boss, Toto Wolff, had an equal mix of bitterly intense and heartwarming moments throughout his screen time, that necessarily wasn’t the case with Horner.

Turns out, all Horner had to talk about in the latest DTS edition was either about Max Verstappen or about his rival, Lewis Hamilton; Mostly the latter. This consequently triggered a lot of Hamilton fans who swarmed onto Twitter to express their disliking of the British team principal.

We have a couple of instances to show; One, Horner is in the middle of a heartwarming family moment where he would ask his kids to make a wish and they’d say ‘Guinea Pig’ and ‘Helicopter’. Horner then questions, “What about Max to win the world championship?” And his daughter, Olivia Horner, would hilariously reply, “That’s your wish.”

But, here’s something that bothered the fans even more; Horner’s alleged ‘obsession’ for Hamilton and Mercedes. In almost every episode, Horner would breathe the Brackley outfit.

There is a point in the season where Horner would ask Hamilton to “shut the fu*k up.” Consequently, the level of disrespect Horner showed towards the seven-time world champion left many red-faced. Similarly, after the Silvertone incident, the Briton would yell, “He should be fu*king out of the race.” The list goes on!
