Buxton backed Russell a while ago

Everyone is well versed with the relationship Russell and Bottas have. Only a few months back, the pair shared some cold moments. While Russell was eager to succeed Bottas as the new Mercedes driver, Valtteri wouldn’t let his seat go without a fight. Furthermore, this situation also resulted in a race crash where Russell slapped Bottas’ helmet. Incidentally, when Bottas out qualified, a Mercedes, that too the one George was driving, people did not let that simply slide.
