Engine fuel leaks! And title contender Max Verstappen is out of the race. Unlucky for the Dutch driver who was setting the fastest laps right before this unfortunate event.
Though rival Charles Leclerc was almost 5 seconds ahead, Verstappen could’ve easily been on the podium at least. Well, Verstappen is not new to this, as he has faced situations like these before.

Verstappen fans are very sad would make for an underwhelming statement. Despite being much behind Leclerc’s F1-75, we can always expect the 24-year-old to pull some magic tricks and win at the last moment. However, a conversation on the team radio reported max to retire his car after he himself felt everything was too heated. Verstappen struggled in the qualifying
Well, Verstappen and the car seem to have avoided potential disastrous damage. Twitter, always unforgiving, reacted to how Verstappen had to retire his car, again. Going back just sometime ago, Bahrain Grand Prix also forced the reigning champion to retire alongside teammate Sergio Perez. The two Red Bulls were out of nowhere, out of the race at the very end moment.
However, even before the race, this weekend was proving to be a difficult one for Max. The Dutchman, though he finished second in the qualifying, struggled immensely. Albert Park circuit qualifies as a street circuit, where Max has been amazing before, but somehow he was out of luck today.
