The unveiling of the RB19 and the subsequent announcement by Ford of their collaboration with Red Bull beginning in 2026 made yesterday a day to remember for all Red Bull enthusiasts. However, late at night, there was also a unique encounter on the Late Night Show, where Sergio Perez was seen batting with the host Jimmy Fallon.
Ford announced plans to write a new chapter in its piece of silverware of F1 history on 3rd February. Over the years, Ford has powered 13 drivers’ titles and 10 constructors’ championships, from Lotus and Graham Hill in 1968 to Benetton and Michael Schumacher in 1994. Ford and Red Bull Powertrains, the Milton Keynes team’s specialist engine section, will collaborate beginning in 2023 to create a next-generation power unit that will be used to power both Red Bull Racing and the sister AlphaTauri business from 2026 until at least 2030.

Jim Farley, President and CEO of Ford Motor Company, made an appearance on “ The Tonight Show” while furthering company promotions and partnerships. There, the CEO discussed the reasons that led to the company’s agreement with the reigning champions. When the show host asked Farley what made them return to the F1, the CEO replied, ” We haven’t been in Formula One in 20 years, but and we’re going back and racing’s gotten huge. The formula has gotten huge in the US and we want to use it to promote our electric vehicle so it’s it makes sense.”
The organization is prepared to join the double champions in 2026, but before that, as the episode unfolds, there is a scene in which the host asks Jimmy Farley to help him in battling Sergio Perez of Red Bull.
