As one of the greatest to grace F1, it is natural that Lewis Hamilton is an international icon whose fandom spreads from the UK to Brazil. Recently, Team LH lost their cool on social media after the star driver was mentioned in one of the latest fan-favorite HBO TV series. The series Industry from HBO has stolen the hearts of young fans in general and quickly becoming a cultural hit.

F1 fans on Twitter lost their calm after the show made a reference to the 7-time world champion, and shared their opinions on social media.

Fans could not believe it when they heard Hamilton’s name from one of the characters.

Lewis Hamilton is one of the biggest superstars in F1. He also has a loyal fan army who always has his back, named Team LH.

Lewis Hamilton rejected a chance to star alongside Tom Cruise in Hollywood

The Mercedes driver recently revealed that he turned down the chance to star alongside Tom Cruise. He was offered to star in his favorite childhood movie, which left him certain about becoming a fighter pilot as a child.

Lewis Hamilton said“Basically I’m a friend of Tom Cruise, One of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. He invited me to his set years ago when he was doing ‘Edge of Tomorrow’, and then we just built a friendship over time.”

The British driver added, “When I heard the second one was coming out, I was like, ‘Oh, my God, I have to ask him’. I said ‘I don’t care what role it is. I’ll even sweep something, be a cleaner in the back’.”

However, Lewis’ hectic F1 schedule did not allow him to engage in the movie. He also revealed how it was the most upsetting call he had to make to turn down this unique opportunity.
