Football is said to be a sport that brings people together, and indeed it has; as British Formula One drivers such as Lando Norris and George Russell came together to celebrate England’s 2-1  victory over Denmark.

With the final against Italy on  Sunday, we can only imagine the support of the English drivers behind the three lions, as they hope to win the Euro 2020 competition.

McLaren’s Norris was over the moon as Harry Kane and his men triumphed over the Danes to reach the final. He took to Twitter to share his joy, with a popular English slogan.

He wrote, “IT’S COMING HOME.”

The Woking-based team reacted to their driver’s tweet, with a GIF that surely enraptured all English supporters, watching the match.

Meanwhile, Russell was with his hands in his head, as Kane was called up to take the penalty, which could see them grab the lead in the intense match. The English skipper converted from the opportunity that was presented and gave his team a 2-1 lead, which they held till the end of the match.

Russell said on Twitter, “That penalty…. Bring on Sunday!!!.”

Will fans have a reason to cheer at the British GP?

With Euro 2020 final this coming Sunday, English fans are top of the moon as they believe they can be victorious over Italy. Furthermore, the weekend after the final is the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.

Fans will be overwhelmed to see another British athlete lift a trophy at their home race, and what could be more exciting with the possibility of winning a major European football.

Norris, Russell, and Hamilton are thrilled to know that fans are coming back to the track, to watch them as they zip around the track. They will be hoping to put on a spectacular show, and hope to give them an exciting race, as they missed out on the action last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
