Sebastian Vettel opened up about the changes made to the regulations. He revealed that he is thrilled about the prospect of tighter competition on the grid. He also admitted that he cannot wait to get started as the new season is set to begin in a few days.

Four-time World Champion Sebastian Vettel is optimistic about the new regulations. He believes that the 2022 car differs completely from the ones from the previous years. Speaking on the changes, he said, “These new Formula 1 cars are incredibly different from their predecessors.”

The Aston Martin driver also revealed the team is still in the process of getting to know more about the aerodynamics of the car. He added, “We’ve spent the last few weeks learning as much as we can about them and I’m looking forward to driving a ground effect car in a race for the first time this weekend.”

The FIA’s primary goal is to bring the grid closer. And Vettel believes it will pave the way for more competition and tight races. “Everything is new in Formula 1 and I think we are going to see a very close battle, with very close gaps, between all the teams. There is a lot to play for, and this is F1 at its best.” the German stated.
